What a Monsterously Loud Wood Chipper Running All Day 200 Yards From My Office Tought Me About Life.

So Yeah… This thing has been Running like this for 2 months seemingle straight.  I decided I would either let it drive me insane, or I would figure out a way to make it improve my life.

  1. Everything Changes – Nothing stays the same. What’s working today will not be (most likely) working next week, next month or next ywear. Appreciate what is working today and don’t  take it for granted
  2. There are a lot of things out of your control – Even more reason to Work on the things you CAN change in life
  3. Don’t jump to conclusions. When I first heard about the land next to me being purchased, I panicked that someone was building a house and I got all depressed about it. A couple weeks later I heard they were not building a house, they were using it to process the forest next to me. Panick again thinking it was a clear cut operation and all of our privacy would be lost. Wrong again. Selective cutting operation, that would only last a few months and not only, despite ewhat I heard) was this new fellow who was invading our live as we know it not an enemy… He was very nice and conscientious about the whole process. Which I’m sure had nothing to due with our town’s noise ordinance law. :) The operation’s foreman was also a nice person who introduced himself and provided information and answered all our questions and set our expectations. He also shared with us that he also homeschooled his kids when they were young… and offered to let us come down for a forestry lesson etc.

It still sucked.
