I’ve really been enjoying the political cartoons of Steve Kelley the past few months. I thought he really hit the nail on the head with this cartoon about the ridiculous dog and pony show that congress is conducting over the Roger Clemens perjury situation. Can you imagine if they took Cheney’s and Bush’s lies this seriously? It’s obviously just a diversion so you don’t pay attention to what’s really going on behind the curtain. I’ve seen some pretty passionate fans of presidential candidates out there, but this guy takes the cake.

Thomas Boldt (also known as Tab) of The Calgary Sun in Alberta, Canada has an excellent political cartoon on Bush’s State of the Union address the other night.

It pretty much sums up what I was thinking when I listened to it. It was a great speech and all, but what country was W talking about - Sweden?
