I enjoyed this little Adobe Illustrator drawing tutorial by marciolcastro over at YouTube. I found his shading technique in particular quite interesting. I’m not sure I have the patience to do all that layering though. :-)

This one was done entirely in Flash and you can see all the sneaky little ways I cheat. :-) It's sped up considerably... the video is about 8:40 minutes but the actual illustration took me roughly 3 hours, start to finish. My wife and I are actually pretty big fans of the show and for the life of us, can't figure out why he hasn't been chosen. He should've been a shoo-in especially with such weak casting the past couple of seasons. One of the funniest guys you could ever meet.
