Is Seth Godin Ripping off Blaugh?

I never thought I'd say this... but is Seth Godin is ripping off Chris and I over at Blaugh?

I always knew Blaugh was a great conversation starter and lived on the cutting edge of fine humor and current events, but I think Seth really danced much too close to the line of cartoon ethics and crossed over it.

It's been noted to me by several readers, and is quite obvious to most who view the striking similarities, that he directly swiped out from under us the cleverness that we published earlier this month.

Here's a cartoon we at Blaugh published on December 21st:

Here's the cartoon we at Blaugh published on February 13th:

Seth Godin Blaugh ripoff Cartoon

And here is the infamous permission marketer's post he published on February 23rd... a FULL 10 days after we let our latest genie out of the bottle:

"If no one reads your post, does it exist?"

Coincidence? I think not.

I mean c'mon now, I can take being the backbone and source of most A-lister's material, but when a guy this high up on the ranks blogs our thoughts this blatantly, takes full credit for it, and doesn't cite us at all?? Well, Mr Godin... them's fightin' words, my friend.

We're coming for you Seth Godin. And you know how I like to draw big noses. :)

I’m having a tough time to know whether or not the article’s tone is serious in its accusation or not. My guess is that it is (?)

Ah Krishna! I thought it was obvious… I didn’t think anyone would take me seriously, yet you did right off the bat. I thought it was an obvious stretch of reality that Seth would do anything remotely close to ripping anyone off like that.

if by saying that bLaugh is “the backbone and source of most A-lister?s material” is taken seriously by anyone… their heads should be examined promptly.

    He’s got a similar post title… that’s it. :)

well, now I’m a subscriber. Cause if I’m going to rip you off, I’d love to know about it in advance!

PS great picture of me. (really). You could probably make big money at Union Square on a sunny day. :-)

I’m not sure I’d do that well in Union Square, Seth… I crumble under that kind of pressure. I much prefer lampooning people from the comfort, and safety, of my home in the deep woods.
