Here are a few helpful resources I refer to on a regular basis that keep me moving forward when the spark gets choked. I really liked those three ‘blogging tips’ articles, but the problogger one? ‘Link like crazy’? ‘250 words’? ‘Use bullet points’? Please! If I see one more of those blokey business type chaps telling me how to ’sell harder!’ and ‘make more money!’ I will scream.

PS Taylor: The blogging tips are right there in the article. For a blog service, perhaps you could just type ‘blog’ in any search tool and start from there. There are many good services, but it all depends on what you’re looking for. And I’d be careful with the e-mail too, though…

Thanks for the comment. The best place to get information on blogging is Problogger’s Blogging for Beginners series. Everything you need to know to get started.

3 out of 4 ain’t bad. I liked the Problogger one because it helps me keep perspective and aids momentum… I didn’t read as much into it. Sometimes I just need to be reminded to keep things loose and to the point.

I admire what you are doing.
I have been making TODo.. Flapping Bird.
(Origami). It requires 2 hands.. one to hold under the nose and the other hand to pull the tail and make the wings flap.
We ( actually the wife Edith ) brings them to Children’s Hospital and it has been a great success…. making them smile and enjoy something “given to a sick child”. I also do the same when we go shopping and have become “The bird colonel”. I am a retired Lt. Colonel USAF and just handing the “TODO” to a bored child bring light to their eyes and a smile and “thankyou” ALSo…I made certain that they are with a proper adult and that the adult sees the ” given ” as a gift… and it bring JOY to Me and Edith. So YOU do the same and I shall enjoy ( with smiles ) you Cartoons.

edk ( the bird colonel )

    Thanks for stopping by Ed!

It sounds like you are doing some great work, you and Edith are to be commended! If only everyone realized the impact adults have on children, positive AND negative. It’s amazing how doing something small by our “adult” standards can mean the world to kids and potentially even change the direction of their lives forever.

    Cheers.
