Here's a behind-the-scenes look at a traditional illustration project for a mock retro comic book ad. It's for an Etnus promotional campaign. The final art will be rendered in pen & ink, colored in photoshop...

I love the ad. Reminded my of being a kid and reading old comic books. Now the only thing I wonder is, were I could get some sea monkeys or x-ray glasses :-)

Ahh yes… Sea Monkeys, those ads used to fascinate me but I never ordered any… and the x-ray glasses were always so unbelieveable, even for a youngster.
